I am officially on the last page of Derby! Only 2 columns are left to stitch.
Excited, enthusiastic and proud of myself for keeping this going strong for 3 years.
My plan is to complete it by the New Year.

It’s like where in the world have I been? Like waldo? I’m somewhere between the mess in my life and the mess in my house!
I quickly decided to update my kitchen and bathroom. It’s been two areas of my home that needed some TLC. Since I have been thinking about selling my home, this would help me more than ever to sell quickly. I found someone who likes to do updates in homes and does not charge an extraordinary amount. It may be fully complete by Saturday.
I’m still unsure if I want to move. So that might be something that pops up quickly as well in the future.
Before pictures of the kitchen (forgot to get the before for the bathroom) just wait to see my cabinet colors!
Here’s some photos of what’s been happening.
The bathroom has been on hold but it may be done by Friday. Some technical things happened but nothing that cost money to fix.

As for the art. Well my art table is being used for painting the cabinet doors. I’ll be treating myself to a new craft table in the future. My little 4pawsartstudio is not in a condition to use at this time. That’s ok. I’ve been busy at work. Always busy right before Thanksgiving.
I have started a new headband knit pattern. Waffle stitch great for beginners.
Cross stitching is on hold, it’s too messy and dusty to work on it.
I’ll be back to cross stitching once the house is clean and reorganized.
Maybe the next post will be about the completed updates.

I thought to share photos of my pets, the ones still roaming the house and the ones who have went to the rainbow bridge.
My studio is named after my pets. I am never alone. One or several will be with me. My art studio is also my yoga studio. I turned one bedroom into studio about a year ago. It’s slowly taking shape but still needs more work. Just minor things.

It’s been awhile since I shared on this blog. I have been focusing on my job and my health.
The decision to sell my house was decided awhile ago. I decided it was better to stay where I am currently living. I love my townhouse.
Today a stop at the store to pick out a new bathroom cabinet and fixtures and to make decisions about my cabinets in the kitchen and a countertop was decided.
The reno begins tomorrow…
Yikes, I’ll be on a financial budget starting this morning!
That’s ok. It’s been long overdue to update my bathroom and kitchen. I have been there for 11 years.. it’s time to put a little me in those rooms. After it’s completed I am done. Except I might paint the garage this summer.
This is the update on Derby the cross stitch. It’s almost done. 6 columns left to stitch.
I would love to say it will be done by Thanksgiving. I think it will definitely be done by Christmas.
