This evening became a wintery day. I drove home from the office with a wintery mix. Aaah the white Christmas wishers are getting their wish.
I made the cornbread muffins earlier in the day to have with soup I made last week.
Chicken Soup
It’s fairly simple recipe.
Crockpot, on high for 4 hours.
Put all ingredients in it together at once.
What you need:
- Chicken breasts. Usually about 2 chicken breasts, if the package has three then I use three
- 3 or 4 Carrots, or more, cut up in small pieces
- 3 or 4 Celery sticks, or more, cut up in small pieces
- Bone broth, one carton may need more.
- Salt
- Pepper
- Parsley
Once chicken is almost done, I take it out of the crockpot and cut in small pieces/ sometimes it shreds. Then put it back for 30 mins or more.
This soup freezes nicely.

Later tonight, I’m going to do yoga, do my Bible study, read and watch a few vlogs. Then off to bed.
