Making a Journal Cover Pretty

Supplies

  • Construction paper
  • Decorative paper
  • Glue sticks
  • Glue
  • Washi tape
  • Lettering
  • Magazine letters cut out

Measure the size for the front cover. It will be a little bit smaller than the pages due to the spiral rings.

Cut decorative paper or construction paper to the measurements of the front cover.

Glue to the front cover. Add washi tape on the edges.

Inside Pages

Use the same measurements as the front cover and cut decorative paper or construction paper to paste on the odd side of the journal entry.

I used construction paper. The next post I will show you what to do with construction paper to add to the journal.

The journal will start expanding due to adding in more paper.
